    G6 is currently searching for a Regional Facilities Manager to support iconic Motel 6 / Studio 6 properties in Southern California and/or Arizona. Our RFM position is responsible for the protection, repair, and maintenance of assets inside a territory. The ideal candidate has the ability to effectively evaluate existing conditions, staffing and business performance. Success is measured by the ability for each location to deliver consistent quality and value, while providing a safe, secure environment for Motel 6/ Studio 6 guests and team members. The RFM is an integral part of the Design and Construction team as well as the Regional Leadership team.

    More about the role:


    • Create and manage a five (5) year asset replacement to include a rolling twenty four month plan for the maintenance, service and replacement of physical assets
    • Provide assistance to our General Managers on energy reduction, and maintenance related items
    • Create and foster a customer service culture throughout the region including the hiring, training, supervision, motivation, retention, and coaching of Area Maintenance Engineers
    • Is a strategic business partner within other departments: Operations, HR, Commercial Sales, Finance/Accounting, Marketing, Pricing, Real Estate, Design, Construction, Security, Operations, and Legal


    Who we are looking for:



    • Communicates effectively with customers. vendors and other team members
    • Work within the appropriate level of independence
    • Provide developmental feedback to multiple disciplines
    • Travel extensively, up to 80% of the time
    • Ability to lead a group of Area Maintenance professionals team members
    • High School diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelor's/Master's or Certification degree preferred, but not required
    • Valid driver license required
    • Five plus years of experience as a multi-unit maintenance person in a fast-paced, applicable environment
    • Advanced understanding of basic construction means and methods.to include contracting experience
    • Strong understanding of technical aspects of physical assets as well as basic financial understanding of profit and loss/budget management
    • Computer proficiency, including common MS Office products
